As a business owner and adjunct professor at local universities, I not only used the information presented in this book in my own company, but also as a great tool to explain the “Twitter” application to my customers and students.

Twitter Marketing for Dummies” helped me to take what I knew to the next level. This is an excellent book for beginners, however veteran users will also find practical information, excellent tips and words of wisdom. “Twitter Marketing for Dummies” lends insight and gives a deeper understanding of how to apply twitter marketing to your company and integrate it into your overall marketing plan. The author gives you practical advice on how to build and use your network to spread you message. Then he takes you to the next level giving you the tools you need to maximize your “Twitter” presence and measure your impact and leverage your influence.

As always the “Dummies” format is easy to follow and straight forward.

Kyle Lacy has written a book about using Twitter for businesses. It’s almost a shame it’s called “Twitter MARKETING for Dummies” because it’s got so much more useful information about using Twitter inside an organization, not just marketing.

The book goes to great lengths to explain what Twitter is, how it works, and how to get started with it. If you’ve never setup a Twitter account before, fear not… the book starts at square-one.

But it doesn’t stop there… it goes into the many different ways you can use Twitter inside an organization – to improve customer service, market and industry research, and yes… marketing. Lacy explains how to find people to follow, how to manage your Twitter usage with tools and services, and how to effectively utilize Twitter as a marketing tool.

Overall, the book is packed with practical information about using Twitter and I’d recommend it to anyone who’s thinking about registering their company’s brand on Twitter.
